Acrylic on canvas, roughly- 28''x20' 2003.....My idea here was to create an stong Op Art effect within a figurative painting in order to convey a certain pschological intensity. When viewing the actuall piece, the visual disturbances are quite noticeable. In the reproduction - the effect is not as strong but is there somewhat. The snakes in the painting brought the Egyptian diety to mind, hence its title.
